Bidet Finder SG helps people find toilets with bidets and share useful information about them.

Browsing and location

You can browse without an account. Your device location stays in your browser and is used to show nearby toilets and straight-line distances. Manual area searches are sent to our search service, which may use OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim. Map tiles load from OpenFreeMap, fonts from Google Fonts, and directions open Google Maps. These services receive normal connection information, including your IP address. We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track individual visitors.

Signing in

Google sign-in or an email link verifies your account. We store your account name, email address and session records, including connection information needed for security and spam protection. Email links are delivered through Resend when email sign-in is available. Session cookies keep you signed in. Your email is never included in public contributions.

Community contributions

Toilet listings, reports, comments and photos you submit are public, along with your first name or “Neighbour” and contribution dates. Unsubmitted text drafts are stored on this device for up to two hours so they can survive sign-in in another tab. They are cleared after successful submission. Upload only photos you took, without people or personal information. Photos are resized and location metadata removed in your browser. Original listing and venue photos come from their attributed sources.

Removal and moderation

Sign in to remove your own contributions. You can flag inappropriate content for moderator review. Removed records may be retained for moderation and recovery, but are hidden from public browsing. Cloudflare hosts the application, database and uploaded photos.

Usage protection

We limit submissions, sign-in emails and photo usage to reduce spam and keep the project affordable. If an allowance is reached, the affected action may pause while browsing remains available.
